Côte des Blancs
Since 1889, the Moncuit family has cultivated Chardonnay vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, at the heart of Champagne’s Côte des Blancs. Today, Pierre Amillet represents the fifth generation, continuing the estate’s tradition of precision and purity.
The eight-hectare vineyard is farmed without pesticides or herbicides. Grapes are hand-harvested, sorted, and vinified parcel by parcel to preserve each site's character. Fermentation occurs in a mix of stainless steel and oak, with extended lees aging and full malolactic fermentation.
Two standout sites include Les Vozémieux, a cooler north-facing parcel in Oger planted in 1955, and Les Chétillons, a prized south-facing vineyard in Mesnil with vines dating back to 1956. Both express the hallmark minerality and elegance of their origin.
