Côte des Blancs
Aurélien is deeply committed to transforming Champagne Suenen into a truly distinctive and authentic wine. One that is both healthy and natural, and a faithful expression of the land he has nurtured for over four decades. He carefully tends to the vines each day, ensuring their roots draw genuine minerals from the region’s characteristic chalky soil. This dedication to natural cultivation reflects his passion for producing a Champagne that speaks of its origins and terroir with clarity and integrity.
Champagne Suenen has its roots in 1868, with the Maison officially established in 1905 in Cramant, a revered village in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Since then, multiple generations of devoted family members have contributed to building and preserving this legacy. Today, Aurélien carries forward this rich heritage, blending tradition with his own vision. His ambition is not only to uphold the family name but also to craft a Champagne that embodies the soul of his land and his personal philosophy.
