Côte des Bar
Domaine de Bichery is a refreshing voice in Champagne, one that values honesty, simplicity, and a deep respect for nature. Based in Neuville-sur-Seine, this independent grower-producer avoids the clichés and grand narratives, choosing instead to focus on what truly matters: organically certified practices, expressive wines, and a hands-on approach to every aspect of their craft. Rather than elaborate tasting notes or romanticized family tales, they invite you to experience the wines in person, because for them, the best way to understand a wine is with a glass in hand.
Each cuvée is named after the vineyard parcel it comes from, reflecting the pure identity of the land. Là, où tout commence marks the beginning of their journey, combining Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from a single harvest, aged in both oak barrels and stainless steel. Their blended rosé, shaped by the personality of each vintage, draws inspiration from the distinctive La Fontaine du Noyer parcel. And when the season allows, Domaine de Bichery produces Coteaux Champenois elegantly aged in barrel, showcasing another facet of their terroir-driven philosophy.
