Côte des Bar
Founded by Benoît Doussot, a Burgundian with a deep passion for Pinot Noir, Champagne Clandestin was born from an unconventional path. Without owning land or vines, Doussot sought a way to express the hidden potential of the Côte des Bar.
He created Clandestin, a name that reflects the discreet and almost secretive nature of this unique project. The vision: to craft terroir-driven Champagnes from overlooked parcels in the Aube.
Sourcing grapes from trusted growers, Benoît vinifies each micro-terroir separately, using a minimalist, Burgundian-inspired approach to highlight the soul of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the region. The result is a lineup of refined, expressive Champagnes that shine a light on the Côte des Bar’s untapped potential.
