Domaine Nowack
Under Flavien Nowack, the family shifted from conventional winemaking to natural methods.

Vallée de la Marne
Located in the village of Cuisles, in a small valley off the Marne River, this family-run domaine has been growing Meunier since 1923. The vines are rooted in a rare green clay terroir that imparts a distinctive character to their wines.
The estate’s vineyards span three nearby villages, all on a single south-facing slope. With 12 generations of winegrowing history and four generations of winemaking, the family brings deep-rooted experience to every stage of production.
Today, the new generation is focused on sustainable viticulture and low-intervention winemaking. They aim to express Meunier with purity and precision, using spontaneous fermentations and minimal cellar manipulation to let the terroir speak. The result is a lineup of tension-filled, expressive Champagnes that highlight the uniqueness of Cuisles’ green clay soils.
