Coteaux Sud d'Épernay
Founded in 1872 in Cumières, Leclerc Briant moved to Épernay in 1955 under Bertrand Leclerc and Jacqueline Briant. Their vision transitioned the estate into a Maison de Negoce, building a legacy rooted in both tradition and innovation.
Revived in 2012 by American owners Mark Nunelly and Denise Dupré, alongside Champagne native Frédéric Zeimett, the house embraces a bold, nonconformist style. Their approach celebrates minimal intervention, biodynamic practices, and a commitment to unique terroir expression.
The jewel of the estate is La Croisette, a tiny, meticulously farmed plot in Épernay producing one of the house’s most prized cuvées. In their modern, serene winery and deep cellars, Leclerc Briant crafts vibrant, age-worthy champagnes that reflect both place and philosophy.
