The Collin family has been cultivating vines since 1812 in Congy, within the prestigious terroirs of the Coteaux du Petit Morin. From the beginning, this family of winegrowers and coopers has produced Champagne wines from its own vineyard, aged in demi-muids (600-liter barrels).

After studying law, Olivier Collin took back the family vineyards, cellar, and underground cellars in 2003—assets that had been leased to a négociant by his parents in 1987. He started from scratch: no clients, no stock, no equipment. Passionate about the great wines of Burgundy, he made a clear choice from his very first harvest—to produce exclusively single-parcel Champagnes under the Ulysse Collin label. Olivier Collin quickly became an icon.

The Ulysse Collin estate embodies a haute couture approach to Champagne. His philosophy is guided more by instinct and sensitivity than by scientific principles. Olivier treats each vineyard as an individual entity. Every single-parcel cuvée has a remarkable personality and a unique energy found nowhere else in the world.

All Ulysse Collin Champagnes are Extra Brut, single-varietal, and aged in oak barrels. Back in 2003, these bold choices were considered revolutionary and atypical. In just 20 years, Domaine Ulysse Collin has become the leading producer of single-parcel Champagnes and a benchmark in the world of fine Champagne wines. Each Champagne is crafted with care and aged with patience to deliver a truly unique sensory experience.
