Vincent Cuillier began his personal viticultural journey in 2018, cultivating two parcels of the family estate with a pioneering vision rooted in agroforestry and permaculture. Located in Pouillon, in the Montagne de Reims, his approach treats the vineyard as a living ecosystem, where soil health, biodiversity, and natural cycles guide every decision.
Drawing from ancestral methods and ecological innovation, Vincent employs minimal tillage, natural ground cover, and homemade compost to enrich the microbial life of the soil. Each parcel is seeded with vegetal cover to enhance organic matter and encourage vibrant biodiversity. Taking this philosophy further, he integrates trees and shrubs among the vines—ushering in agroforestry as a cornerstone of vineyard design.
His first cuvées, Chemin des Rois and L’Arbre, are a direct reflection of this ethos. Crafted without added yeasts or additives, they express the purity of place and the quiet strength of sustainable practices. The wines of Champagne Vincent Cuillier are produced in limited quantities from select parcels, offering a fresh and thoughtful voice in the world of Grower Champagne.
